5.0 out of 5 stars One Tough Cutomer, July 22, 2015

This is a powerful, tough drill that is easy to handle and works very well. I've used it for drilling cement and bricks, without any strain. That means I've never had the need to test the special feature claimed for this drill that is supposed to sharply reduce "kick-back", the force that would be transmitted back to the worker if the bit suddenly locked up. But I've put a lot of trust in Bosch tools and have not been disappointed, so I figure the feature works as intended. I was glad to get the box as well, to keep everything together. I'm very happy with this powerful drill.

So far... I love this drill. Only draw back is it doesn't have a tool belt clip. Steady power and seems solid. I use this drill for hours 6 days a week. Will review on how it's holding up.

4.0 out of 5 stars though the safety kicks in a little sooner than I'd like. My older NiCad version would try harder, February 11, 2016

Crazy powerful, though the safety kicks in a little sooner than I'd like. My older NiCad version would try harder...but would have a burning smell as a result. Feels Bosch tough...but time will tell!
