This item just feel apart when I went to use it one day. All I have used this for is putting screws into regular 2x4s. Piece of garbage, spend the extra $10 dollars and buy the Makita conversion chuck or one of the heavier duty chucks. This item will break easily.
This review is for the item only not seller. The seller is amazing and took great care of me.

At the price point, this chuck is a really solid bargain and very handy to use with impact drivers. I don't even take a drill to jobs now -- I just toss this compact accessory in a compartment of the fastener storage box to use with my M12 Fuel impact driver!

It has held up to 3/8" twist bits, 1" paddle bits, and even larger circular saws, and also held 1/16" bits steady and straight enough to not break. I've drilled through steel and into concrete, with no issues. Being a keyed chuck, you can clamp it down on any bit enough to prevent it from slipping. It does tend to get locked onto bits if you use the high impact setting to blast quickly through materials, but so far I have not seen any sign of failure or even marring of the bits.

I used this little gadget right away and darn if it doesn't work as advertised. Really helped converting my impact drill so I could use it with standard drill bits. Buy this device or buy impact driver drill bits. This thing is cheaper. No problems with slipping or not holding well.
